The Woodland Grange is situated convenient to the highly acclaimed, Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, boasting some of the most stunning and varied coastal scenery in all of Ireland.

The ‘Giant's Causeway’ itself is a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its polygonal columns of layered basalt and is within a short driving distance of The Woodland Grange.
Also near to here is the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Bushmills Distillery, the oldest operating whiskey distillery in the world dating back to 1604.
The whole region is steeped in history, myth and legend and dotted with ancient castle ruins and other intriguing sights, many of which have formed the backdrop for much of the filming of the ever popular television series, ‘Game of Thrones’.
The immediate area is also famed for its world class golf courses with some of the current top ranking golfers, such as Rory McIlroy, Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell, coming from the locality.
In May of each year the area hosts the world famous North West 200, motorcycle road race similar to the Isle of Man TT. A local legendary motorcyclist, the late great Joey Dunlop 'MBE, OBE' is officially recognised as one of the top motorcycling icons ever. During his career he won the Ulster Grand Prix 24 times, 26 wins at the Isle of Man TT and five consecutive Formula One titles.
Slightly further afield are the two main Northern Ireland cities of Belfast and Londonderry, both brimming with a rich cultural and political heritage.
Most famously Belfast, hometown of renowned author CS Lewis, (Chronicles of Narnia) is known for being where the ill-fated ‘Titanic’ cruise liner was designed and built and currently hosts an impressive visitor and exhibition centre to its memory.
Belfast was also home to the DeLorean factory that produced the steel clad DeLorean DMC motor cars, popularly known as the vehicle used in the film 'Back to the Future'
